I just bought a 1992 Geo Metro 4 door hatchback for my first car. It sputters and dies. Its acting like its not getting enough gas. should I replace the whole fuel system what should I do?
Which engine do you have, and what is the mileage?
The mileage is 980754 The engine is 52-hp, 1.0-liter I-3

Check the condition of the following (low hanging fruit):
- air filter
- spark plugs
- clean mass airflow sensor
- measure your fuel pressure

Don't forget the fuel filter, I've seen clogged fuel filters stop cars dead in their tracks.

Good lord. A Metro can't afford losing any of its 50 horses.
Fuel filter would be my first bet. That's an old car.
What is with all the Geo questions on the forum lately? It's like '95 all over again.
