I'm trying to put my sisters 2005 GMC C5500 motorhome back on the road after about 4 years sitting. I replaced the battery and changed the oil and filters. It started right up and sounded smooth but after turning it off it continued to run as normal, without the key in the ignition. it ran perfectly before storage. Finally turned the key to start out of desperation and it stumbled and finally turned off. Any tips would be appreciated.

I'd suspect a faulty ignition switch
