I have a 2003 GMC Serria 1500 5.3 sometimes when I am starting the truck it starts right up in the morning, but right after I cut it off and restart it again it will turn over a few times before it started and sometimes it will not start, but it will start right up after that. Is it the ignition switch, or do I need to sim the starter? Also I have the air bag light come on, and the computer says service air bag. I hooked up a obd to it , but their is no code. How do I get it removed? Thanks Ricko12
The fuel pump might be going out.
You need a high end tool to scan air bag codes. But please post one problem per question thanks.
Thanks Joe, you know sometimes going up a hill the engine will vibrate or flutter, I thought it might be the transmission, but it kinda jerks sometimes, do you think it's the fuel pump? It has the original fuel pump with 205,000 miles on it. Thanks Rick
