My dad recently scrapped our 1995 Citroën AX; 1.5 diesel; 40 kW; 150 000 km.

What do you think of the car? Any opinions?

I think it was time. Hopefully he can find something as enjoyable to drive.

It lasted a good long time, hard to argue with that. Citroën has not been sold in the U.S. for decades. Many of us here still think of this when we think Citroën. Just a few shy of 70 years since it debuted it still looks like something that was dropped to earth by a flying saucer...

Only 150k km in 26 years with a diesel? I wonder the engine hold so long. What was the reason for scrapping?

It is known to me they tend to rust. Does anyone have any experience with 4x4 ones?
