2005 CHRYSLER 300 3.5L V6 2WD AUTOMATIC 150,127 MILES
The car listed above is limited and according to the client had a horn issue so was taken to a garage. Although the horn later worked, a more complex issue happened to the car. A no crank no start and also a crank no start, whenever security light came up it doesn't start or start and stalls immediately. Infact, ECM was replaced by the engineers but that didn't fix the issues. I finally fixed all these issues listed above with both new and an old ECM.
When I was about to go, the client pleaded for me to help him fix these issues below, such as, single turn signal for both sides doesn't work but hazard light blinks normally when the switch is turned on, wipers doesn't work too. Mostly for the trafficator / turn signal that wasn't functioning, what could make it to be inoperative and, how can I fix the problem in that car? Can you guide me please, on the repair procedure and wiring diagram to help me fix the problem?
This was the codes I got below

- Does it require a TIPM or trafficator switch replacement? Please, how can I carry out a test to verify if it's TIPM or a trafficator switch that is faulty?
Thank you so much sir for the wiring diagram. Please as a guide how can I use a multimeter or testlight to test the turn signal switch when activated to be certain if it's faulty or not. What about the TIPM, how can I carry out similar test to know if it's really faulty or not?
In addition, hard starting, ABS , ESP, airbag and traction control light remains ON. The link I included showed a TIPM code. Please guide me further on what to do.
Maybe start by checking Fuse 30 in the Trunk fuse box. Use your test light to make sure you have power on both test tabs on that fuse
.
You can see by the wiring diagram that the Hazard light switch doesn't communicate with the FCM (Front Control Module) through the CAN Bus nor the SCCM (Steering Column Control Module). It just provides a Ground Signal directly to the FCM when the Hazard switch is put into the ON position
.
However, both the Turn Signal and the Wiper switches (Multifunction Switch) use the CAN Bus and the SCCM to send requests to the FCM
.
Also, you have an active FCM code to complicate matters even more. Is that being set because it isn't able to communicate with the SCCM or is it something else?
.
On that 300 replacing either the multifunction switch or the SCCM requires removing the steering wheel so that's a big pain
.
Ideally, you would use a good scanner to see if the SCCM is receiving the requests from the multifunction switch, and if it is, then is the FCM receiving the requests from the SCCM?
Ok. I'll recheck that fuse 30. But something I forgot to include when relating the cars problem is : when testing the fuses at the trunk I noticed that not all the fuses were available, some were empty. Thus, I decided to swap fuse 4 that was available to 5 that was empty. As I did, I noticed an immediate electric spark just by the fuse touching the empty terminal meant for fuse 5.
I tried that again with a known good fuse into that location and noticed another spark/ spike. Please could that be a contributing factor to the car turn signal problem and wipers problem?

That's the link to what I'm trying to explain.
You said the ecu was replaced . Did you reprogram the new computer with all the vehicles information. Also Did you program and pair the key to security system and ecu . If you didn't the car won't start. The security system will stay active.
Thanks. The car started without reprogram with both ECU. The only challenge presently that still persist are the steady airbag, abs, and traction control light; hard starting, both turn signal not working, no wipers but hazard working normal.
I didn't see the part where you said you fix it. Broken screen on phone block most of it. Using other phone now I clearly see it . Lol
Check your wheel speed sensors and wiring. Check all the fuses as well, it's possible something blew when installing new ecu or when old one went
Ok, it was fine but I'll recheck that. But would it require a replacement of the turn signal switch or the TIPM? How can I test the 3 wire turn signal switch to verify if it's faulty using a testlight or multimeter?

I have just resolved the turn signal and wiper issue without replacing any part. Thank you all for your assistance!
