I have a 2005 Jeep Cherokee. Lights when activated come on when they feel like it ! Also noticed the radio didn't light up either. What should I look at first?

Fuses, relays, bulbs, sockets, wires ...
The most effective way to fix electrical problems is having a schematic in one hand, and a meter or test light in the other.
Don't forget the bottle of Jack Daniels. I seriously hate chasing electrical gremlins.
it can be tedious. You have to be methodical about it.
Almost forgot ... check ground points.
