I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Silhouette van. It is perfect in every way except one little thing.
The drivers side headlight is aimed so as to shine to the right. Is there a way to focus it so it shines straight ahead. You used to be able to adjust headlights back when we had sealed beams, [ I wish we still had them ]. And if not will a high beam bulb in the low beam side work? The low beam bulb is a 9006 and the high is a 9005.
Yeah I know they did this as not to blind oncoming traffic but living out in the sticks, i doubt that will matter.
Thanks for the reply but I'd rather re-aim them myself to suit me , not some state bozo.
It's your car but if you do it, it'll be wrong.
You low beam setting will always have both lights shining down and to the right in most cases. If you feel it's wrong, find an official lamp adjusting station in your area, or whatever it's called in your state.
