Why is my 2016 ford focus se shutting completely down when I slow down to make a complete stop

We don't have magic crystal balls, is your Check Engine Light on? Have you checked live data and freeze frame data for clues? You need a scan tool to properly diagnose your issue.

Does that car have Ford's horrid "PowerShift" automatic dual-clutch transmission? If so those are notoriously unreliable and may be stalling the engine when coming to a stop.
