I have a 2016 ram 1500 I am having trouble with the active grille shudders I replaced the motor on the shutters but the engine light is still on do u know what else the problem could be thanks

Hey Joe, what are active grille shudders?
They're an automated version of the manual, cable-operated grille shutters that used to be found on older cars made for cold climates like Volvos and Ladas. They make for faster warmup.
What Chuck said. Although, it seems kind of gimmicky to me. These aren't air cooled engines.
I believe my fiancée has the same thing on her 4-cylinder Mustang. It's all computer controlled. It's just another thing that coupd break. They basically are gimmicks, in the old days, they probably had a purpose, back when everything was manually operated. I believe certain smaller carburetor engines had them so they could warm up faster.
