Hello guys, I’m getting confused on which car to buy, I want to get one that’s really reliable, can y’all tell me which cars from the year 2014+ are really good reliable cars?
Clarification: Can you hone in on which class you want (I.e. sedan, hatch, coupe, van, CUV, SUV, truck?). AWD/4WD or not? 2-row, 3-row? Other requirements? Also, how many years and miles do you need it to last you?
If reliability is all you are looking for stick with Toyota, Honda, if you are instead in others then the only other ones would probably be Subaru and Mazda. I would avoid American cars and european ones for the most part. That being said, any car can be "reliable" depending on how much money you are looking to put into it.
Known of a couple "reliable" benz, but that's cause the owners all took care of their E classes, and paid handsomely for it. Don't know what you are really confused about.
If it's about which year and which car of that year, then it's all based on how many problems that was common for that particular production model. For example, Toyota and Honda as a whole are considered reliable, but some years do have issues with burning oil and takata airbag recalls and the like. Do your reasearch, and come up with a list of which looks most favorable to you. Other members on here are way more knowledgeable on which years to look out for for certain cars/year/makes/models.
You can also look through the tags to find out which will be a good fit for you. There are a plethora of people looking for reliability in whichever cars they choose.
Super helpful. Thx

Toyota, honda, lexus, acura, mazda, subaru are all good brands. What do you want? An suv, sedan, hatch, off roader. Stick to mazda and subaru for hatchbacks, stick to honda for 4 cylinder sedans, and stick to toyota and lexus if you want a high quality suv or off roader, because they make the best suv's you can ever get.
