So I have a dodge dokota slt I engaged some kind of brake that doesn't let me use my regular brakes properly I have to push it all the way to the floor to get any kind of braking I engaged it by pushing the regular brake in to the floor for too long how do I disengage it ?

What you are saying is a bit confusing. My guess is you accidentally put your emergency brake on. There could be something more to that I'm not sure.

You mean the parking brake? The one you use when you're parked on an incline? There should be a lever to release it nearby
