How do I turn off the security mode for a Honda Civic 1998? It doesn’t want to turn on bc of it.
I just left my keys on ignition so I can charge my phone and I was doing a coolant flush in my car and out of nowhere I tried to turn it on and nothing so some one came and tried jump starting it and nothing

So the anti theft system is malfunctioning? Or did you instal a new ECM/ignition module which hasn’t been reprogrammed yet?

Wow that's part of the starting system of the car you can't just bypass it you have to fix it if it's not working right. Now mechanics generally charge $140 an hour up and you'd have to tow the vehicle to them but try to find a good locksmith in your area many now work on keys and anti-sub systems for cars and they charge a lot less plus they'll come to your house so you save the expensive tow
How did you arrive at the conclusion that your security system is at fault? Did a professional mechanic diagnose the vehicle, already?
Are all fuses & wiring in good condition?
