I have a 2005 f150 5.4 4x4 an since I've had it I never changed the transmission fluid. plus it looks like the dipstick is coming out underneath should I change the fluid? I've had it almost 2 years. it kinda has a hard time shifting to 3rd an when I hit around 40 it sounds like it wants to die kinda boges down an hesitates intill I punch it. It has 255000 miles. Plus in idle stays around 1rpm. I've changed the spark plugs cv axle (driver side) then I changed front brakes an driver side hub assembly.

How many of the 255K miles have you had it? Have you ever changed the trans fluid and filter? Have you ever changed your transfer case or either differential oil either?
