- Hey Scotty! I currently have a 2005 Honda CRV with 211,000 miles on it. It works like a charm, but since we need one more car, I figured I get a newer Honda CRV. I will be buying the used car from a dealer and was wondering what years I should avoid. Any years you recommend? Also, do you recommend a limit towards the amount of mileage on a car? Thanks - J.

Don't buy it from a dealer.
