I have an 1999 for expadition Eddie bower edition. It's stuck in 4 high it's not the type with the vacume lines and solenoid it's electric I'm not familiar with this there ae no codes it clicks and acts lie it's going in and out of 4x4 and the indicated light will go on but only goes off if you turn it off and back on.how do i get it out of 4x4?. Also I noticed when you open the driver side door all the interior lights and emergency flashers flash till eather another door is open or the dome lights are turned on. Not shure if this is part of the issue
Have you tried resetting the computer by unplugging the battery cables?

I didn't thunk it would matter sence there was no codes showing but I will try first thing in the am and get back with you
I decided to go out in the cold and try it out of curiosity
Sadly it didn't work
Still have the flashing interior lights as well and when swched on or off the 4x4 switch dont seem.to click as much as it did when it worked properly. I'm bumfuzzeled
Well, did you wait about 10-15 min endure putting back the battery cables?
