Hey there, I have a 2007 ram 1500 4wd hemi automatic with 162,000 miles on it. I have a p0463 code on my truck after I replaced all four oxygen sensors after getting the codes for each oxygen sensor being too rich, which stayed away for awhile till I went on an 800 mile round trip and now I have a Po172 and po175 code. Any ideas what the problem is with all of these codes? By the way, I did erase the codes after I replaced the o2 sensors and held the positive and negative battery terminals together for a long time. Thanks
Realize sensor codes are relatively generic you have a problem like an engine leak or an engine that doesn't run correctly it will trip those codes because the engine isn't running right and the computer gets confused by the dad and blames the sensors. Find a guy like me to at least analyze it to see if you have an actual engine related problem first
The Hemi is famous for failing roller hydraulic lifters that don't open the valves properly and destroy the cam shaft. This would be my bet. Pull a valve cover and have someone turn the engine over. Watch the rocker arm movement to see that they all move the same amount. If not, your lifters are gone, you need to pull the heads to replace them and the cam. Sorry.
