My Dad has 1 of them. It's a 1967 Lincoln Continental. Original paint, engine, and transmission. 7.4L V8 engine. And I'm not sure what type of transmission is in it. It's an automatic though. It has less than 100k miles
I also have a 1991 Mercedes 350SD Turbodiesel. It has an inline 6 engine. The 3.5L with a 4 speed automatic. It only has like 120,000 miles on it
Then for my first car I ever had. It was a 1999 Mercedes E300 Turbodiesel. My friends named it Ella. Had to start with an E of course. It was a 3L inline 6 engine with a 4 speed automatic. Same transmission as the '91. It reached 280,000 miles on it before I crashed it. I'm OK now but I really miss that car. I bought it off a man he was like 83 and he had another one just like it except '98 and he actually just crashed it like a week ago. I saw it at the shop since we go to the same place and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as my accident.
What, exactly, is the question? And thanks for sharing your feelings.
I think he's looking for general opinions and advice about the Mercedes and the Lincoln.
Have at it, Joe.
