Hi scotty I am usually really good with vehicles and issues but not when it comes to the electric issues. I have a u1301 and u1064 codes up on my 2004 automatic chevy cavalier 2.2 it has over 130,000 miles . It recently has been killing my battery which that is brand new same with the alternator. Its says something with the control module when I look it up. Do you have any idea that would help lol please lmk ? Thank you
Well yeah those are computer communication, failure codes. You have some type of computer failure. Can be the wiring or it can be computer modules itself. Sometimes you get lucky in hook up a scan tool and if you unplug modules one at a time and then the code goes away. The module that you unplugged is the problem
