I own a chevy hhr 2.4l with a 4 speed auto. I have a factory "sport suspesnsion" package that uses gas shocks and is a bit stiffer. Although it's no sports car it has some potential to be decently fun. Are there and upgrades I could do to make the car more enjoyable? I don't really plan on doing power mods but if anyone has anything just tell me what you know? I'm 19 and this is my first car so it's nothing fancy at all but it would be cool to just add a lil flare to it.
My advice would be make it look good but don't start doing performance mods because those are very weak vehicles in the engineer transmission will break if you put too much horsepower into it
Thanks for the advice, I think I will just touch up the paint a lil, then maybe get new wheels, and possibly some nice seat covers.
I would not start modifying it as those cars are very weak platforms to begin with.
If you want to add some cosmetic changes then go ahead, but that's as far as I'd go with it.
Thanks for the advice, I think I'll upgrade to the mazda 3 as those are a bit more fun and will get it with a manual.
This vehicle is not worth it.
Yeah I didn't think so, thanks for the input. I think I'll put some new seat covers and get some quiter tires and that's it.
Good decision. I'd save my $ for when I get something worth putting improvements into.
