What car should i get
Toyota, you can't go wrong. That's a mechanic friendly car. 🤗
Toyota or Honda obviously are good choices but condition needs to be considered as well. Almost anything would probably be a better choice than a Toyota that was a flood car or that was "rebuilt" after being totalled, for example.
Check Scotty's videos for specific cars that should be avoided. All manufacturers including Toyota and Honda have had some models with problems. Be sure to have a mechanic check out any car you are consdering BEFORE buying!
You money will go farther if you look for cars that aren't "trendy", i.e. a sedan instead of an SUV. I also got a better deal because it was pre-dented (I added my own dents, like most new drivers, pretty soon.). I also had to spend a day going over the car with compound and a buffer, but buying a car with faded paint saved me a lot more than I got paid for a day's work back then.
