How do I get rid of Tundra steering wheel squeak

Hi Scotty

My steering wheel squeaks when I turn right or left, seems to be coming from inside the cab. Its a 2007 toyota tundra with 175,000 miles

Its been 10below zero here in Minnesota

why you can spray WD-40 around it doesn't hurt anything and it might stop and a lot of times the plastic rubs and when it gets really cold it rubs more cuz pieces change shape and a cold

It could be the spring loaded, brass contact pin behind the steering wheel.  If you take the wheel off and look in the upper left part of the column, you'll see a bright brass circular pin.  You can either get a new one and replace it or put a 22 caliber bullet shell casing over it to fix the problem.
