Hi Scotty , i just bought this conversion van, its a 2000 E 150, 4.6 L V8 with 70,000 miles, and it has this codes on the guy say thats because he just put a brand new battery on it, hopefully it won't cost me to much to fix it , he says it doesn't affect the drive ability of the van , what do you think? And how can I fix this codes, have you fix them before? Thank you, you're the best.

P141 keeps coming on not mater what, I was thinking to put a new purge valve on, I tested with a hand held vacuum pump and it holds vacuum, there's also signal to it on the wiring, maybe the electronic part of the purge valve is bad? I was thinking on replacing the pcv valve as well, would the pcv valve treager this code? I do have my own scanner foxwell nt520 pro with the ford software for deeper functions ,scanning and special functions and no, it doesn't even let me clear all those codes i try and they stay on they won't even clear , I have the quick erase feature on my scanner and it won't clear them either, I have clear codes in many other cars with this tool
A mechanic should be able to clear these codes to see if they come back after the battery swap.

Hi Eric,
If you have your own scanner you can clear them also.
Most auto parts stores will have the scanner and let you use it and you can clear them free of charge.
Keep your list to see if the same ones show up.
Hope this helps a bit

Remove the negative cable off your battery and wait couple minutes. This will reset the computer.

I have a question:
Were you able to erase the code at all?
@yaser
Only the p1 451 for the purge valve, it comes back on after 10 minutes, im going to start by putting a new purge valve on it , the electronic part may be bad i know the diaphragm is good cause I tested with a vacuum pump, if that doesn't fix it ll replace the pcm, pcm its sending voltage to it , 12v close it may not be dropping it to 4v open, and i will replace the pcv valve too just in case is stuck open it only cost 5 bucks
