Hi Scotty, I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71 4x4 5.8L V8 that I don’t drive too often anymore. I just bought a brand new battery and instead of leaving the negative unhooked I thought I would drive it enough to keep the battery charged. Wrong! So I have completely drained a brand new battery! Will the battery be fine if I charge it? Will it hold a full charge now? Or should I replace it? Thanks for your help and I love your channel! TamiHawaii

Sure just recharge it. Are you sure you don’t have a parasitic drain?

It sounds like you have a bad alternator or a dead short somewhere.
