340000km no check engine light no abs light dash is clean and i see the check engine light when i put the ignition on is not covered cold start is fine but the engine shakes a bit until il starts it starts in like 2 sec cold
OK, diesel engines shaking at start is not an issue at all, all the ones i've owned did that after 100k km or so. As your cold start is ok and you're having a lot of black smoke at a hot start, the most probable cause would be the injection pump wearing out or a bad sensor. It's a known issue for the m51 engine.
If you can, it could be a good idea to check with a scan tool anyway and check any sensor with a multimeter.
Fuel injection pumps are expensive so it's best to check the sensors first.

That's the thing not always it starts hard when its hot sometimes it starts fine
