2015 Nissan Frontier Extd Cab 2WD, 2.5L 5-spd manual with 85,190 mi. At freeway speeds in 5th gear between 65-70 mph while accelerating with the pedal only. I hear this very audible high frequency whining pitch sound coming from within the cab itself.

check your power steering fluid. use a flashlight to see it, if its dirty flush it and put new

Also sounds can travel the transmission is right under you it could be the gears whining to figure that out do my video finding the source of car noises Scotty
