Hi Scotty,
My Honda accord 2.2i CTDi 2004 has 600.000 km
When the engine is running I can hear motor chain clanking. Could there be anything else wrong with the car than just a chain?
Im thinking of engine swap for VTEC 2.0 or 2.2. with lesser mileage. Would this be a good idea and is it possible?

Well if you hear a chain rattling the only chain in the vehicle is the timing chain I would have it replaced as for swapping a different engine and never advised doing that modern car so too many computer and sensors and software differences to swap different types of engines in a vehicle
