Our 2007 honda accord( the one I have talk a while ago) is having problems with the door lock( the two back doors). It does not matter if it is opened or closed, the doors do not open. I am very concerned, much more so if an emergency occurs. What can be? Thank you so much.
If it is anything like my 1999 Honda Accord, I think it is the latch and/or actuator.
I had a problem with my driver side door. It wouldn’t open. I don’t exactly know how the mechanic solves the problem. I wasn’t present, and didn’t bring my car in at the time. I saw evidence of drilling a hole to gain access to the latch/actuator, but there may be a better way to do it. And the latch/actuator was replaced.
I wish I had more details and more accurate terminology to share for the actual solution.
