Should I buy this 2008 Honda Accord in Europe?

hi scotty i would like to have your advice

 

i test drove a 2.0 5 speed auto accord eu that runs and shifts good, but the owner said he never switched the transmission fluid 

the car currently has 160k km (about 100k miles)

should i still consider it?

it shifts smoothly and runs good

You’ll need a professional mechanic/transmission specialist with a dealer level scan tool, to test drive the car and look at the data while in motion. That’s why Scotty always recommends having any used vehicle checked out by a professional mechanic before you purchase it. There’s a lot of data in the scan tool which a mechanic can interpret & understand the condition of the engine & transmission. With all that said, the fact that it still shifts smoothly at 100,000 miles is a good sign and may point towards the transmission still having quite a lot of life left in it.
