Hi scotty i m in the market for a 2021 toyota camry or a 2021 honda accord and im leaning towards the Honda but as you know Honda has had oil dilution issues with its new vehicles. would that sway you to buy the toyota as opposed to the honda. ill be honest im kinda scared that the honda engine might not last a very long time. thank you
Ok. The Camry is very reliable. The 1.5T oil dellusion was solved in 2018 is what Honda claims. The Accord comes with an optional 2.0T engine which should not have that issue. If you are very worried I would go with the Camry if you like it but if you really are leaning towards the Accord consider a 2.0T.
Why buy something which will keep you up at night then? Get the Camry and sleep peacefully.
The Accord is a close second. Both cars are brand new, so the long term reliability of both is unproven.
