Hi from London.

Looking for a cheap RELIABLE! used car 🚗 to teach my friend to drive from scratch MANUAL ONL. he may only keep it for a year or so once he passes driving test!

Budget up to £1200 ish

Would it be better to go for a strong car such as a Honda civic 1.4 manual 2007 Mark 8 with 160k on clock

Timing chain ⛓ no belt Honda reliability etc

Or go for a Peugeot 207 or a fiesta with high millage at

Around 100k . The cars usaly have rubber timeing belts!! 🤔

but that sort of millage could be the life span of the car giving they are probably city driving miles not motorway.

Peugeot vehicles are around £300 to £400 cheaper than the Honda that I'm looking at.

if it checks out OK would be a bargain!

#Honda civic mark 8 1.4 160k asking price is £1250!

All of those are horrid old cars, but between those, the Honda seems like the best option.

consider saving up more.

Ok thank you all! God bless 😊
