I heard the third generation of Honda crvs are a bad buy..are they that bad..because I would really like to buy a used 2008 one..for Uber and ride around
What makes you say they are bad? What major issues have you heard of?

It's not the absolute most reliable year, but nevertheless one of the best.

In my opinion, FWIW, after 5-10 years, condition and maintenance is considerably more important than year.
