Hi.on start up in morning the 2015 honda jazz 1.2 comfort cvt it starts and then cuts out.  It does not show error codes.  Only error codes are after it cuts out. All communications errors When it starts the revs goes let's say to 1500.then drop let's say to 1200 or 1000 and then you hear a click and car cuts out.  I am second owner .has 135000km on the clock.

The car will cut out anything from 2 to 12 times.  Then at times it will disappear for between 3 tot 6 days and then appear again.

When I have driven car during the day it does not cut out again.  Only time it will cut out again is if I only drove early morning and only again 6/7 hours later.

People has been struggling since begin Jan this year.  Car is at the dealer by Friday for 3 weeks and they still struggle.

One auto elec changed to new alternator.

The second one replaced a few earth wires and cleaned the throttle body.

Can you assist?

I wish so the dealer could whatsapp you as I am fed up at this stage.

Thank you.

Love your channel.

What diagnostic steps have you taken so far? The obvious things like spark plugs, filters, fuel pressure? Cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body? Performed a diagnostic scan for codes and live data?

If a scan tool gets plugged in it shows no data or error codes.

There is always data. Unless you have a scan tool so low-end it only reads codes you should be able to see data such as fuel trims. Most low-cost scanners these days can do it.

Then it showed the following. ...

Those "U" codes are communications failures. Probably the main one triggering them is "U3006-16 power source failure ecu low voltage". That would likely be triggered if when starting your vehicle the battery voltage dropped below 10 volts - computer modules do not like low voltage.

If you do an internet search on that and the other codes you'll find potential causes and diagnostic information. However the simplest thing to do is to start by load-testing your battery and alternator.

@chucktobias hallo. In my country it is a struggle. They lack knowledge/know how you know. I appreciate your assistance. I have forwarded to where my car is. I am from south africa [personal contact info redacted].will inform of what happens.

It should not be too tough to do some simple testing, at a minimum it should be possible to check battery voltage while cranking and alternator voltage with lights and accessories on. Although not a complete test you should be able to detect gross problems that way. However electrical and computer problems can be quite complex, requiring advanced diagnostics.

Also, please do not post personal contact information such as phone numbers here. (It is a bad idea in any public forum.) No one from here will call you, all contact is through this web site.

If a scan tool gets plugged in it shows no data or error codes.

Also  plugged into car and car starts up.then still no error codes.

Codes only appears when  scan tool is plugged in and car do cuts out.  Hope it makes sense.

Then it showed the following.

U0101-00  can comm failure with tcm

U0100-00 can comm failure with ecm/isu

U3006-16  power source failure ecu low voltage

U0100-00 gauge control module lost comm with eng/at

U0100-00 f-can malfunction eps control unit pcm

U0416-68 VSA system malfunction
