Hello,
Thinking of getting a 2021 Honda Pilot LX AWD. Would like to keep it 10+ years. Anyone with any experience with this newer model? Any pros and cons? The shifter looks strange.

The transmission on those cars is on the weak side. The other thing is about the AWD system and the repair cost in the long run. If you really need AWD, get one, otherwise, go for the non AWD version for good.

They apparently are still using the 9-speed in the pilots...you want to avoid that. If it had the 10-speed the odyssey had, then it would of been ok.
The new J series have early injector failure problems.
Infotainment and electronics have failures as well.
Overall it's OK...but highlander better choice.
