Scotty, I was looking into buying a 2007 Honda Accord with the 2.4IVTEC engine at 129k miles, automatic transmission. Upon researching the Carfax and Vin, found it has a open recall on the outer race of the secondary shaft bearing released back in 2011. I called my local Honda dealer and Honda’s fix for this is a program update which I find a bit concerning since it sounds more mechanical than technical. Could you please elaborate? Is this a concern on the transmission I should shy away from?

Run away and don't bother having anything to do with a dealership. There are plenty of better choices out there.
