Scotty,
Should I buy a new 2023 9 speed Honda Ridgeline RTL-E or wait for the 2024 10 Speed Honda Ridgeline RTL-E
My main issues is minimize my maintgenace. I have had two older Ridgelines but my 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Ecodiesel is driving me nuts with all the engine codes popping up. Sick of it. What zero issues, and I drive 12K/yr in NW Il. Your thoughts please.
Definitely wait for the 10 speed.
The 9 speed is crap, on this forum you can find multiple instances of that transmission dying very prematurely.
I personally would get an older 6-speed Ridgeline
Pass on the 9-speed automatic transmission.

That's because it's an Italian diesel engine. They always break down before they should. My girlfriend's dad has a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins turbodiesel in it. The truck itself is rotted out, but the frame is still good after 221k miles. It fires right up. The check engine light isn't even on, and it still works, too.
