Has anyone out here tried it ? I purchased some and will be running it for a year on a 2017 Civic lx with a NAPA platinum filter. We only drive it 2500 per year. I haven't found much info on the quality. No posted youtube videos on used oil analysis either. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. This oil is expensive. I thought I would give it a try and get an oil sample in a year. Thank You

We only drive it 2500 per year.

then it won't make an iota of difference.

all you need is to meet the requirements in the owner's manual

This oil is expensive.

then don't buy it. You don't need it.

Not a fan of cardboard endcaps.

It's an oil filter. Who cares about the end caps.

Orange fram guy then huh

whichever filter... you know .... filters the oil.
Fram makes a whole range of filters, and the Xtended Guard filters do that extremely well

I drive a Civic and I buy the required specification oil (0w-20 full synthetic) from Costco (Kirkland Signature) and I buy the Honda OEM filter from the dealership when it goes on sale. Just change it every 5k or once a year and you're good to go; you don't need to pay extra for expensive oil (well actually brand and name).

Thx. Usually use Amazon synthetic oil. No honda filters though. Not a fan of cardboard endcaps. Trying something new for a change

Costco motor oil is a better price than Amazon and both are from Warren Distribution so same oil just different brand label. Honda OEM filters are good quality and especially for someone like you who doesn't drive much it's more than good enough. It's good to care for your car and oil and filter change, but no need to overdo it and spend more than needed.

get an oil sample in a year.

without a control, or baseline, it won't mean much

@mountainmanjoe Was also wanting to see what kind of additive package was in there. Doing a pre and post analysis. Curious about it. Thx for the input
