Toyota or Honda are usually good choices. Slight edge to Toyota overall.  

GMC and Chevy are the same company. 

With Honda and Toyota they are generally very good you need to look for problems with specific models that have oil burning or transmission problems.

Today Chevrolet and GMC are the same, they're just badge engineered with maybe some different features available. Years ago that was not the case, with GMC you used to get a real "professional grade" truck engine that was heavier built and more durable than what you got in a Chevy. (GMC even used to have a V12.) 

I've owned three Toyotas, two Hondas and an Acura.  I think Honda's are better in overall reliability and have less  rattles and other annoying issues

Toyota used to make slightly better cars than Honda but recently, Honda quality is not there. Chevy and GMC are basically the same in terms of quality. 

I've had great experiences with our Hondas and Toyotas. I'd have to say they are too close to call overall.

Now Chevy/GM? Junk.
