Between 2012 Honda Civic's 5-Speed Automatic transmission and 2014 Toyota Corolla's CVT transmission, which one is more reliable and can run forever ?

Not crazy about either one but I would choose the automatic over the cvt.

Nothing lasts forever, but between those 2 choices, I would go with the Honda automatic. Scotty had a video of the Toyota CVTs (includes ones going back to 2014), and I am still not sold on their longevity. Generally speaking, for longevity manual > conventional automatic > CVT

Both are actually not bad, toyota CVT in this comparison is best.
