Soon to be shopping for a reliable used vehicle for around $10k in Houston area. Any recommendation are appreciated; either on what to purchase and/or who/where to go to in the north Houston/Jersey Village area.
I enjoy working on my own vehicles, but am not looking for a project to ask questions about later.

don't go to a used car dealer unless you like getting screwed over. buy from a private party. if you must however, don't go to a dealer that sells only used cars as they generally have a lower reputation; go to a dealer that sells both new and used cars.
I dunno. I see a lot of people getting screwed in private deals too. At least the dealer is bound by laws so there is some recourse after sale. You're completely on your own with private sales. All bets are off.
