How can I find affordable parts (clockspring and ac compressor) for my 2012 Toyota Camry XLE?
Good afternoon Scotty. I enjoy your videos a great deal. I purchased a 2012 Toyota Camry XLe based on your recommendations and some research I like the car however the horn never worked and the AC went out. For those two items I’ve been given quotes of 2000 or more. I can’t find the clockspring for less than 600 bucks. And they want the same or more for an AC compressor. They also told me it’s 4 1/2 hours for the AC compressor which I thought was high. Is there a vendor you are aware of that has these parts for a more reasonable cost? Thanks for your time.

so you're looking for mechanic service, not parts, right?
Are you certain that the AC compressor and the clockspring are at fault? What diagnostics have been performed?
For a 4-cylinder model a new Denso AC compressor (OEM supplier) is about $415 at rockauto.com. If you want to roll the dice with an aftermarket unit a new UAC compressor is about $250. (I've had a UAC compressor on my car for over a decade and it's been fine.) There are similar prices for compressors used in V6 models.
