Hi everyone I have a 08 Mitsubishi with a CVT with 159K how long will it last. When the fluid is at operating temperature the fluid is the color of slightly used motor oil a golden darker color. Should I change the fluid?

You’re approaching the end of trouble free performance of that CVT.
What does your owner’s manual recommend regarding changing your CVT fluid?
The only thing it recommends “Take it to your local Mitsubishi Dealer”

159k and you’ve never changed it, consider yourself the luckiest cat in the world that it still works, in the future, change it every 40k 😀
