Hi,
My family has been with State Farm a long time, because they used to offer personalized service.
Nowadays, they just tell you to avoid calling your local agent, and just call the corporate phone numbers with long wait times and questionable service.
If this is the case, I might as well save some money.
Any recommendations?

Personally I tried Geico and Progressive, their online tools are fairly comprehensive. Once you get an online quote from them you can give them a call, and talk to an agent with your online-quote number. Usually things like no claims, no tickets, no accidents bring down the premium. There might also be corporate discounts, for instance I could use my college name to get a discount.
