Where can I find a new combination meter for a 2014 Tundra?

I have taken my 2014 Tundra 4x4, 5.7L flex fuel vehicle with 61,200 miles to the dealer for a check engine light. The told me it needs a new combination meter after they replaced the PCM last time I had it in for the same check engine. They kept my truck for 6 months before finally telling me the part is discontinued for a 10 year old vehicle and there is no aftermarket replacement available. I was told to come pick up my truck with no hope of repair. I had an independent mechanic look at it and he told me the replaced PCM did not have the correct VIN number programmed so I am curious if this would cause low voltage readings and thus fool the tech into thinking the combination meter is actually bad.  Curious what my options are and look for advice from a very experienced mechanic.

If it turns out you actually need a replacement combination meter and no new ones are available you could try finding a used one from a junkyard.
