I am currently replacing my 2003 Nissan Maxima water pump and I watched and read a lot about how to do this job but but I don't know if I put in the water pump all the way and if the chain is on it correctly I put everything back together already but I'll send you a picture just to show you before I did seal it up if that helps thank you very much.

I have done this on my 2000 Maxima. What you did looks good from the picture. Did you torque the bolts to the correct spec? The chain appears to be seated correctly. If you have not already started the car, be aware that it will make a lot of noise for several seconds. Good luck.
