You must have accidentally bumped or disconnected wiring somewhere in the engine compartment.
I looked all over but I didn't see anything disconnected. I read I have to reset the computer but I need to know the exact way to do that for a 2002 Pontiac Montana
Do you have power to the lights when you turn the switch to ON position? Does the starter crank?

I put the key in the on position and dash lights come on then i short out the starter and it turns over but doesnt start. I read when I unplugged the mass air flow senser the computer disabled it from starting. I need to know the proper way to reprogram the computer for that vehicle. 2002 Pontiac montana.

You probably inadvertently unplugged the MAF sensor when manipulating the air box. Check all your connectors from the air filter box to the throttle body.
Every thing is connected.
Check for loose battery or ground cables.
Every thing looks good and tight.
