I got a 66 Lincoln continental . Replaced the distributor rotor and cap, ignition coil, new fuel lines and pump, new spark plugs. When first crank it it will start but then die after words it just crank and doesn't start. Need some ideas of wat it c...

I got a 66 Lincoln continental . Replaced the distributor rotor and cap, ignition coil, new fuel lines and pump, new spark plugs. When first crank it it will start but then die after words it just crank and doesn't start. Need some ideas of wat it could be.

If it runs on starter fluid, then I'd look at the carburetor, especially the automatic choke.  Carburetors that have sat for a while can be problematical - that this one been cleaned and had the gaskets and o-rings done? After 55 years, anything non-metallic is suspect.
