I have a 2003 Honda Pilot I bought it from my neighbor and recently noticed it wont go into overdrive it will only go into one two three but will not go into 4th or 5th gear and I don't seem to see any indication lights nothing.
can you possibly tell me what's going on with it
You have to start by checking for any transmission codes.
But odds are, since it’s an 18yr old, probably high mileage Honda, it’s your transmission on its way out.
Did you have it checked out by a professional mechanic, before purchase? Things like this are usually why it’s always recommended to do a PPI on any used vehicle.
Im getting it check tomorrow it will shift into first second and third just fine but when it comes enter 4th and 5th it doesn't even shift into it all it just stays in 3rd
