‘04 Ram 1500...keep putting money in small amounts instead of a payment and buy a newer truck say a ‘15 that I will have payments for 36-48 months or stick with the truck I know what is wrong with it. They will give me $5,000 in trade on a low mileage newer truck??? I can’t make up my mind.

If ya like the truck and comfortable fixing stuff as it breaks and saving money is a major concern, keep it as long as you want as it'll be cheaper (to a point of course...).

Which way the balance tips for you is up to you.

I don't think they are truly giving $5k off the best cash price for the new (used) truck.
