i have a 2010 ford escape 187000km and the car sways towards the right while driving, i asked my mechanic and he said i have a bent sway bar link, will fixing the sway bar link actully fix the problem and make the car drive in a straight line or do i need to get the alignment fixed
Sounds like it. But you’ll need to align the vehicle, if you haven’t had an alignment in a while.
Why are you second guessing your mechanic’s diagnosis? Did he show you the damaged sway bar?
i asked him aabout the car going to the right while driving before he changed my oil and said i will have to do an alignment but after the oil change he said i have a bent sway bar link
Well I’d change it first, and get an alignment done after all your front end parts have been checked for wear.
