How can you get the rear lift gate open on 2013 4runner the switch in the tail gate isn't making any noise. There's no emergency opening latch inside the car and have no way of opening it to get the rear panel off? Any help will be welcomed

Common problem on late model vehicles.
Automakers are too cheap to put in a manual emergency latch.
I don't know the answer. But understand the frustration.
